VENUES

Black Rodeo USA uses various indoor and outdoor rodeo facilities in the cities to which we travel. Most venues handle parking and concessions. Seating also varies.

HOTELS

GROUPS

Our shows are great for organizations, families, friends, employees, youth, seniors, churches and more to attend. Or, celebrate your special occasion with us, including birthday, anniversary, reunion or retirement!


Note: We first reserve seating for a limited number of groups of 50 and more; we will accommodate other group sizes at our discretion. Smaller groups should arrive early to choose seating.

VENDORS

We offer a Vendor Village Expo at our rodeo events featuring local companies and organizations. We prefer vendors that are a good fit for our audiences and Western/country lifestyle.


Spaces are limited. Applications are accepted for information/resources organizations and retail businesses. Food vendors are available only at designated venues.

MEDIA

Members of the working media are eligible to request a credential to cover our rodeo performances and/or affiliated events. Freelance media as well as content creators are also welcome to apply.


Note: Each application will be reviewed; you will receive a response 2-4 weeks prior (if applicable) to event detailing your credential status.

GENERAL
  • How long are the rodeo events and when can I arrive?

    The run time of a rodeo event is typically under 2 hours and 30 minutes. Gates open 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to the show time.

  • Is a minimal age required to attend this event? Are children free?

    Black Rodeo USA rodeo shows are all-ages events. Children 3 and younger are free with an adult ticket; and must sit on the adult's lap.

VENUE
  • When can I go to the venue to purchase tickets?

    Typically tickets are only sold at the venue the day of the event (if available), as we travel another state to set up the rodeo. Our Box Office opens 2 hours prior to the start of the event.


    It is highly recommended to buy tickets in advance, as many rodeos sell out.You can purchase tickets online at BlackRodeoUSA.com or by phone at 602-688-9906.

  • Are the events indoors or outdoors?

    Our rodeo events can be indoors or outdoors.


    Indoor events include: Denver, CO; Tulsa, OK; Shelbyville, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Scottsdale, AZ. 


    Outdoor events are: Las Vegas, NV; Golden, CO; and Humble, TX. For outdoor events, the majority of the seating is covered.

  • Can I bring my own food and drink?

    Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Coolers are not allowed. Exceptions are made for babies and medical conditions.


    Venues provide concessions for attendees.

  • Where do I park?

    You can park your car at the venue in the designated parking areas. Fees (primarily cash only) are associated with parking and vary depending on the venue.

  • Are dogs or other pets allowed?

    No animals, other than those being exhibited, are allowed on the rodeo grounds with the exception of “Service Animals” as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. For the safety and well-being of all involved, all other animals are prohibited.


    Service Animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered to the handler at all times unless being attached interferes with tasks. If not attached, the animal must remain close to the handler and be under verbal or signal control. Any Service Animal who displays unruly or aggressive behavior towards other guests, employees, or animals may be denied entry or asked to leave the facility.


    It is highly recommended that owners/handlers confirm that Service Animals are up to date on all vaccines.

  • Where is lost and found?

    Any item that has been lost or found during any show or event should be taken to the Black Rodeo USA Merch booth or the Box Office. Note: Black Rodeo USA is not responsible for recovering, storing, safekeeping, preserving, or returning any lost or found item anywhere on the show grounds.

TICKETING & SEATING
  • What is your refund policy?

    Black Rodeo USA events are NON-REFUNDABLE, rain or shine events. If you can no longer attend the event – no matter the circumstance – you have the option of reselling your ticket(s) on your own to family, friends or others you find who would be interested in attending.

  • What ticketing platform do you use?

    The official ticketing platform of Black Rodeo USA is Yapsody.

  • Why am I getting a failure transaction when trying to purchase tickets ?

    It could be: incorrect credit card number or expiration date; insufficient funds; the bank declines transaction based on location; bank fraud rules block the transaction. Contact your credit card issuer for the reason of the decline and to have the transaction approved. You can try another card.

  • Can I exchange my ticket if I purchased the wrong date/time or need to go to a different show?

    We will honor this request at our discretion; however, all ticket exchanges must be completed SEVEN (7) DAYS prior to the event. Note: We only can exchange tickets if tickets are available for a different section or event.

  • Can I purchase tickets over the phone?

    We can process your ticket purchase by taking your information over the phone with a live ticketing representative. Please call the BRUSA Office at 602-688-9906. You may need to leave a message due to high call volume, but we will return your call as soon as possible.

  • How do I purchase tickets with cash?

    Please check the ticketing event page to determine if the rodeo has local ticket outlets. You also may call the BRUSA Office 602-688-9906 for details. You can arrive at the venue box office 3 hours before showtime to pay with cash. Note: Tickets may not be available, or will be very limited, for walk-up purchases.

  • How do I access my ticket?

    Our tickets are mobile via the YapTickets app. Tickets also may be held at Will Call at the venue the day of the event.


    Download the YapTickets app from either the App Store or Google Play Store. Enter the email you used to buy the tickets and a verification link will be sent to your email Click on the link in your email, and you will have access to your tickets in the app to show the scan code at the gate.


    If unable to access the app, you can state the ticket purchaser name at the gate. You may be required to show your receipt, or be directed to Will Call.

  • Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

    The "Transfer Ticket" feature in the YapTickets App allows you to effortlessly transfer your event tickets to another person's email address directly within the app. Once the transfer is complete, the recipient logs in to their YapTickets app to instantly access their ticket. (See 'How do I access my ticket?')


    You also can call the BRUSA Box Office at 602-688-9906 to have a representative send a ticket to a specific email or hold a ticket at Will Call.

  • I don't have a seat number. How will I know where to sit?

    Most Black Rodeo USA events are general admission. Your ticket purchase is for a specific section. You may arrive as early as 1.5 hours before showtime to select the seat of your choice in your designated area.

  • Where do I sit if I have a wheelchair or can't use stairs?

    All venues are accessible. Wheelchair seating is primarily on the main concourse level, and some venues include companion seating. Depending on how the seating is arranged, you can choose to sit at the top or bottom of sections to avoid stairs.

  • I didn't buy tickets from BlackRodeoUSA.com (Yapsody). Will they be honored?

    While there are some legitimate third-party resellers, many of them sell overpriced tickets. Others are scammers, and you may receive an invalid ticket. You will need to purchase tickets directly from Black Rodeo USA/Yapsody to avoid any issues. It is our policy to not accept third-party reseller tickets.

  • How do I avoid being scammed?

    Getting scammed happens to the best of us. Here is some useful information found online:
